It is with a heavy heart that the West Manchester Township Fire

Department announce the passing of Chief Richard Steinfelt. Chief

Steinfelt started his fire service career with the Dallastown Fire

Company. In 1974 Chief Steinfelt moved to West Manchester where he

then joined the Shiloh Fire Company. For the past 46 years Chief

Steinfelt was very active member with the department with holding

numerous positions. He was always willing to lend a hand and helped

mold young firefighters. He will be remembered as a great friend, leader,

and mentor.

Visitation services will be this Thursday June 25 at the Shiloh Fire

Company from 6pm – 8pm. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on

Friday June 26th at 10am at St. Rose of Lima Church 950 W. Market St.

Burial will follow at Holy Savior Cemetery 3420 N. Susquehanna Trail.
