Course Fee: $150.00

Prerequisites: Age 18 and up, Firefighter 2 Cert. AND Fire Service Instructor 1 Certification

This program is designed to give students a basic knowledge of management principles within a fire/rescue organization.  Areas covered: communication modes, management style, leadership, organizational structure, pre-planning, health & safety, and legal aspects for a fire officer.  The course is designed to prepare the student for professional certification testing (written & practical skills) in accordance with NFPA 1021. Successful completion of the program requires proficiency demonstrated in written practical skills and a multiple-choice examination.
