Prerequisites: Entry Level-Fire Ground Support, NIMS ICS 100, 700, TIMS and HazMat Awareness, HazMat Ops.

This course provides new firefighters with a comprehensive introduction to both exterior and interior fireground operations. Topics include fire behavior, fire extinguishers, self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA), fire streams, hose line advancement, ladders, forcible entry, and utility control. Students will also gain experience in interior operations such as search and rescue, ventilation, fire suppression, salvage, protective systems, and firefighter survival. The program emphasizes safe firefighting practices and culminates in live fire training scenarios that apply fire attack techniques in realistic conditions.

THIS IS NOT A CERTIFICATION CLASS. THIS CLASS TRAINS YOU TO THE FIREFIGHTER I LEVEL AND IS NOT A PROBOARD CERTIFICATION CLASS.

**A structural burn session is run with the Interior course for extra LIVE fire experience so ALL Live fire practical dates MUST be attended or your station will be charged.**

Turnout Gear & SCBA are REQUIRED for EVERY Class
