Emergency Boat Ops & Rescue

Dates: 2020: March 14th & 15th; 0800-1700 (16hrs)
Instructor: Todd Stahl
Prerequisites: Minimum age of 18 by start of class, Good Health condition, Water Rescue & Emergency Response, PA Safe Boating Certificate.
Per the Instructor: This 16-hour course is a must-have for any rescue unit involved with on-the-water operations. Includes classroom and practical hands-on training in: boat selection, recommended equipment, boat handling, moving-water tactics, and boat rescue techniques. Meets or Exceeds NFPA 1670 Technician-Level Guidelines
Equipment Recommended: Dry Suit/Layering, Water Rescue Helmet, PFD, Foot Protection, Gloves, Eye Protection and Change of Dry Clothes. *NOTE* Recommend 2-3 students per inflatable rescue boat, 4 students per hard bottom rescue boat, must supply your own boat.
