This course will present vehicle extrication theories\, techniques\, & challenges that involve common passenger vehicles\, to accurately & safely execute the skill sets required for professional certification of Vehicle Awareness & Operations. Topics include: rescue incident management\, simple machinery types\, extrication strategies & tactics for common passenger vehicles\, resource management\, stabilization systems\, hazard identification & control\, technical rescue equipment identification & application\, extrication tools\, methods\, & selection criteria\, basic patient care\, packaging\, & lifting & moving\, basic extrication techniques\, & applicable OSHA & NFPA laws & standards.
