This course reinforces the job performance requirements of Fire Company Officer I program. Covered areas: critical issues in leadership, human resources, instructing, community interaction, and finances. Topics include: basic investigation techniques, operational plans, and communicating in the written medium. The course is designed to prepare the student for professional certification testing (written & practical skills) in accordance with NFPA 1021.
Students will need to bring: a laptop and a USB thumbdrive
