DESCRIPTION:Class Fee: $100\, Lab Fee: $100 (8 Hrs\, Min. Age: 18)\nDates:  September 14th\, 2022 0800-1700\nInstructor: State Fire Academy \nPrerequisites: Firefighter that are going to apply for the program will need to complete an application and demonstrate that they have successfully completed one of the following BEFORE class start date: \n\nPA Entry Level Interior Firefighter (ELIF) with live fire; or\nPA Entry Level Interior Firefighter (ELIF) with no live fire AND has a Structural Burn Sessions; or\nEssential Basic Module (EBM) AND Structural Burn Session; or\nFirefighter I certification\n\nThis is an 8-hour course designed to give the student the practical knowledge required to recognize and understand the phenomena called “flashover”\, how to identify “pre-flashover” conditions and deal with these conditions in a safe and controlled manner. The ultimate outcome is to avoid firefighters from becoming victims of this violent phenomenon.
